A Glaze surgery where cosmetic work is planned and matched

Cosmetic dentistry

The smile you would have had, quietly restored.

Plan and price first

Nothing begins until you agree to it.

Unhurried visits

Time to ask everything you want to ask.

HMO accepted

Nine partner health plans, billed for you.

Gentle by default

Say you're nervous and we pace it to you.

Cosmetic work covers the things that make you cover your mouth: a chipped edge, a tooth that sits darker than its neighbours, a gap that has bothered you for years. The aim is never a smile that announces itself as dentistry. It is one that looks like it was always yours, matched to your face, your age and the teeth beside it.

This is for you if

  • A chipped, worn or discoloured tooth stops you smiling openly
  • Your teeth look uneven, short or mismatched in shade
  • You have an occasion coming and want to feel comfortable in photographs

Step by step

How it works

  1. 1

    What you would change

We start with what bothers you, not what we notice. Then we examine whether it is a cosmetic issue, a health one, or both.

  2. 2

    Plan & shade

We agree the approach and match the shade in daylight, against your own teeth. You see and approve the plan and the price first.

  3. 3

    The work

Depending on the case: bonding, a veneer, a crown, or reshaping. Most cosmetic work is done in one or two visits.

  4. 4

    Review

You come back so we can check it in your face rather than in the chair, and adjust anything that is not sitting right.

A closer look

Matched to your face, not to a chart

Shade is chosen against your own teeth in daylight, beside the ones staying put. Cosmetic work looks obvious when it ignores the face it belongs to.

Honest answers

Will it look obviously done?

Not if it is done properly. Teeth that are too white, too even or too long for the face are what make cosmetic work obvious. We match to you, and we will say so if what you are asking for would look artificial.

Do you have to drill healthy teeth?

Not always. Bonding and reshaping remove little or nothing; veneers and crowns remove more. We start with the least invasive option that will actually work and explain the trade-off.

How long does it last?

Bonding several years, veneers and crowns considerably longer with good care. Grinding your teeth at night is the usual thing that shortens it, and we will check for that.

Can you fix just one tooth?

Often yes, and matching a single tooth to its neighbours is the harder skill. It is also usually the more natural result.

What will it cost?

It depends entirely on which approach suits your teeth. You get a written plan with prices after the examination, and nothing starts until you agree to it.
